Privacy Policy · Updated September 2026

We only process the data needed to deliver email and forwarding

This policy explains how SendFo handles data when providing three-hour temporary inboxes, long-term forwarding, and customer support. We follow data minimization, clear retention periods, and user control as our core principles.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the webpages, temporary email, verification-code login, forwarding features, delivery records, and support channels provided by sendfo.com. Third-party senders, signup platforms, and your destination email provider have their own policies, which we cannot make commitments on their behalf.

2. Data we process

Temporary email processes system-generated addresses, access tokens, expiration times, email headers, message bodies, and attachments. Long-term forwarding processes the receiving email address you provide, verification results, public addresses created, status settings, and delivery results.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use this data to create mailboxes, receive and display messages, fulfill forwarding requests, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. Our legal bases are providing services you request, maintaining system security, and complying with applicable legal obligations.

4. Retention periods

Data categoryTypical periodAction at expiration
Temporary address and emailCurrent mailbox lifetime; three hours by defaultAutomatically deactivated and queued for cleanup
Forwarding delivery recordsUp to 30 daysDeleted on a rolling basis
Security and access logsUsually no more than 90 daysAggregated or deleted
Support correspondenceUp to 12 months after the issue is closedDeleted or de-identified

5. Email content and attachments

Email content and attachments are used only to display messages in your inbox or forward them to the destination you configure. We may automatically block malicious scripts, dangerous files, and abnormal payloads, but cannot guarantee that every email is safe.

6. Cookies and local storage

The site uses browser local storage to save temporary email tokens, login tokens, and interface state so the page can continue working after a refresh. We do not use these values for cross-site advertising tracking; you can clear them in your browser settings.

7. Service providers

We may use hosting, email delivery, security monitoring, and customer support providers to operate the service. Providers may process only the necessary data for agreed purposes and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

8. International processing

Network routing and infrastructure may result in data being processed outside your region. Where applicable, we use contractual terms and access controls to provide protection proportionate to the risk.

9. Security measures

We use encryption in transit, short-lived tokens, permission separation, rate limits, and auditing to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. No internet service is completely secure, and important accounts should not rely solely on an expiring temporary address for recovery.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or export of data associated with your account. To protect accounts, we verify your control of the destination email before fulfilling a request.

11. Children

The service is not intended for anyone below the minimum age of consent specified by local law. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact our support team; we will investigate and take steps to delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We will update the page date when this policy changes materially and provide additional notice when appropriate. For privacy questions or rights requests, email support@sendfo.com and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in your message.
